On of the fastest growing sports in the UK, archery continues to thrive in an idyllic setting at Dunkeld Park.

We can provide quality instruction and entertainment for individuals, families, corporate groups, wedding guests and even stag and hen parties.

Target Archery

Using modern recurve archery bows similar to those used at the Olympics but without all the additional accessories, guests are taught to shoot at traditional paper targets at a range of between 10 and 25 yeards. While some guests are happy enough to develop their archery tecnique and improve their scores, others prefer a little friendly competition.

Field Archery

For those guests wishing to practise their hunting skills with fond memories of Sherwood Forest, we also have a superb field archery course with 2D and 3D imitation animal target made from foam and hessian.

Challenging, yet surpisingly realistic, this branch of archery has a wide following throughout Europe and, every year, hundreds of archers meet up for plenty of fun and interesting at national, international and regional events. Dunkeld Park is the ideal location for an introduction to the exiting sport of field archery.

Further information

All the necessary equipment for both target archerty and field archery will be provided by the Dunkeld Shooting Academy, but guests who have their own area welcome to bring it along and use it subject to the instructor's approval.

Full instruction is given prior to and during your archery event.

Prices

£25 per hour for archery and field archery.
